Chicago

Dedicated to all the non-spanish speakers that we know and that are quite a few. Hope you like it!

No wonder why they call it the windy city... just we arrived the weather dramatically changed into what for us was a freezing winter in Alicante, that is between 1 and 7 degrees with an awful wind that made us feel even colder...

Even though we did very much enjoy the city.  The thing that impressed us the most is the Lake Michigan that more than a lake seemed a sea since you could not see the end. We had great views of the lake and the rest of the city from the top of the John Hancock tower were we enjoyed a glass of wine with the spectacular views..

The other remarkable spot is the Millenium park with the huge sculpture that reflects the skyline with its great architecture of the buildings.

The only good thing about the bad weather and rain while in the city was that I had to make no effort to take Joan to the wonderful Art Institute of Chicago and stay there for a whole morning. After all there is always something good...
